Scope of this policy
This policy applies to QuickFix AI, an independent informational website for printer, router, WiFi, smart device, and home technology setup guides. We are not official support for HP, Canon, Epson, Brother, Netgear, TP-Link, ASUS, Google, Amazon, or any other manufacturer or platform.
Information you provide
You may provide information when you create an account, log in, use AI Help, submit a support request, purchase a subscription, or contact us by email. This may include your name, email address, login details, support message, subscription status, and payment-related identifiers from our payment processor.
Do not submit passwords, one-time passwords, full payment card details, government IDs, device serial numbers, or other highly sensitive information through AI Help or support messages.
AI Help data
If you use AI Help, the issue text you enter may be processed by a third-party AI service provider to generate troubleshooting guidance. We may apply basic redaction for common email and phone patterns before sending requests. AI Help is for general information only and should not be treated as official manufacturer support or professional repair advice.
Visitor logs and security data
For security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, analytics, and fraud prevention, we may collect technical information such as IP address, page URL, referrer, browser, operating system, approximate location/country, timestamps, cookie consent choice, and pages visited. We use this data to keep the website functional, detect suspicious use, measure content performance, and improve guide quality.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions, login/session handling, cookie consent, fraud prevention, analytics, advertising measurement, and content improvement. You can manage or block cookies in your browser settings. Some features may not work correctly if essential cookies are disabled.
Google advertising and third-party ads
If Google ads or other advertising services are enabled, Google and other third-party vendors may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, device identifiers, or similar technologies to serve ads, personalize ads where permitted, limit repeated ads, detect invalid activity, and measure ad performance.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this and/or other sites on the internet. You can learn more about Google's advertising technologies at Google Advertising Policies and Technologies and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use Google services.
Users may opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings or through applicable industry opt-out tools where available.
Consent for EEA, UK, and Switzerland users
Where required by law or Google policy, users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland should be shown a consent message before personalized ads or non-essential ad cookies are used. If Google AdSense or Google Ad Manager is enabled for these regions, a Google-certified consent management platform should be configured in the advertising account.
Payments
Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe or another listed payment processor. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. Payment processors may collect and process payment details under their own privacy policies. We may receive limited payment status data, transaction IDs, account email, subscription dates, and charge/refund status.
