How to Connect HP Printer to WiFi (Windows 11 & 10)
Follow these simple steps to connect your HP printer to your home WiFi network.
Prerequisites
- Your printer is turned on and in setup mode
- You know your WiFi name (SSID) and password
- HP Smart App installed (recommended)
Method 1: Using HP Smart App (Easiest)
- Open the HP Smart App on your computer or mobile.
- Click on + Add Printer.
- Select your printer model and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Select your WiFi network and enter the password.
Method 2: Using Printer Control Panel
- On your printer, press the Wireless or WiFi button until the light blinks.
- Go to your printer’s control panel → Network Setup → Wireless Setup Wizard.
- Select your WiFi network and enter the password.
After Changing Router or WiFi Password
Reset the printer’s network settings and reconnect using the steps above.
Common Errors & Fixes
- Printer not found → Restart printer, router, and computer
