How to Connect HP Printer to WiFi (Windows 11 & 10)

Follow these simple steps to connect your HP printer to your home WiFi network.

Prerequisites

  • Your printer is turned on and in setup mode
  • You know your WiFi name (SSID) and password
  • HP Smart App installed (recommended)

Method 1: Using HP Smart App (Easiest)

  1. Open the HP Smart App on your computer or mobile.
  2. Click on + Add Printer.
  3. Select your printer model and follow the on-screen instructions.
  4. Select your WiFi network and enter the password.

Method 2: Using Printer Control Panel

  1. On your printer, press the Wireless or WiFi button until the light blinks.
  2. Go to your printer’s control panel → Network Setup → Wireless Setup Wizard.
  3. Select your WiFi network and enter the password.

After Changing Router or WiFi Password

Reset the printer’s network settings and reconnect using the steps above.
