How to Activate YouTube on a Smart TV

YouTube can be signed in on compatible Smart TVs and streaming devices using a Google Account.

Step 1: Open YouTube

Launch YouTube on your TV.

Step 2: Select Sign In

Select Sign In on the TV screen.

Step 3: Choose the Available Sign-In Method

Your TV may display a QR code or activation code.

Step 4: Use Your Phone or Computer

Follow the official YouTube sign-in instructions on your other device.

Step 5: Enter the TV Code

If a code is displayed, enter it exactly as shown.

Step 6: Complete Sign-In

After authentication, YouTube should become available on your TV.
