How to Activate SBS On Demand on Your Smart TV

SBS On Demand supports TV linking using a QR code and activation code on supported Smart TVs and streaming devices.

Step 1: Open SBS On Demand

Open the SBS On Demand app on your Smart TV or supported streaming device.

Step 2: Select Sign In

Select Sign In or Create an Account on the TV screen.

Step 3: Scan the QR Code

Use the camera on your smartphone or tablet to scan the QR code displayed on your television.

Step 4: Open the SBS Connect Page

The QR code will take you to the SBS TV connection page. You can also open the official SBS connection page directly at sbs.com.au/connect.

Step 5: Sign In

Sign in to your SBS On Demand account on your phone or computer.

Step 6: Enter the TV Code

Enter the activation code displayed on your television and select Submit.

Step 7: Complete Activation

After successful activation, your SBS account will be linked to the TV and the SBS On Demand app should sign you in automatically.

Activation Code Not Working?

If the code has expired, return to the connection screen on your TV and generate a new code.
